Tuesday November 30 – Thursday December 2 | 7:30pm
Jeffrey Renn presents the second chapter in the amazing adventures of Robert Service, freely adapted for the stage from his autobiography, The Ploughman of the Moon. The Service saga continues with Robert’s reflections and boyhood memories of his glorious youth in the Ayrshire countryside of Scotland, notably his continued relationship with the Dougans (his pal Pat and father Frank). The duo are the early poetic influences inspiring his storytelling life, inflaming his passion for a seat at the feast of language, and setting him on his life’s great adventure to the grandeur of Canada.
Written, adapted, directed, and performed by Jeffrey Renn
No intermission
Thank you to Joan Farlinger and Mouat’s Clothing Co. for sponsoring these performances.
