For fifteen years ArtSpring has provided a home for an extraordinary variety of live performances – music, dance, theatre, poetry, you name it – by the very best artists in our country and the world. Fortunately, many of those first-class artists live right here on Salt Spring.

So to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Bob and Birgit Bateman cutting the ribbon on our fine new arts centre, we have planned a great evening of music, dance and poetry by a selection of our finest local talent. The event will take place on the evening of Saturday, April 19 (that’s Easter Saturday) and will feature:

Valdy, Chris Kodaly, Luanne Katz, Brian Brett, Sonia Langer’s GISPA dance students, and Ian Van Wyck’s jazz trio.

And because it’s our 15th anniversary, tickets to this stellar evening will cost only $15 (plus of course our usual $5 for all youth under 18).
