The SSI Painters Guild printmaking group is showing new work in the ArtSpring Lobby from June 2nd to 30th. Seventeen artists have submitted 43 original prints created using a variety of printmaking techniques. You’ll see silk screen prints, monotypes, linocuts and etchings. In addition, the show will include moths. Yes, moths! These small prints have been made to go to a large exhibition in July in Albuquerque, New Mexico to honour the humble moth. Who knew that we have so many beautiful moths here on our island!
The printmaking group meets regularly (September – June) at ArtSpring (3rdTuesday of the month) for an open studio day.
