Roger Brunt
Join all the elves and fairies at ArtSpring for another fairy picnic and book launch. Roger Brunt will read from his new children’s book, Salt Spring Island’s Erskine the Elf Goes Home, at 2 pm and 3 pm. Jeannie Paynter, the book’s illustrator, and Charlie Pickard, the maker of Nanaimo’s Gnome Homes who has appeared on television, will also be in attendance.
There will be snacks and treats for little and big elves, and a display of the most beautiful fairy doors in the world painted by the elves’ best friend, Nicole Hennesey. Also, meet Big Horse, Salt Spring’s most famous rabbit who is a friend to all the Little People.
