Greetings, and welcome! We look forward to hosting you at ArtSpring. To best support your event and ensure smooth operations, please submit this form by the first of the month prior to your event. Tech services cannot be guaranteed without a minimum of 30 days notice. Please feel free to contact our Rentals Manager (Meghan@artspring.ca) or our Technical Director (td@artspring.ca) with any questions or concerns. If you would like to book a meeting with the Tech Director, please do so at least 2 weeks prior to your event (preferably sooner). To provide you a detailed estimate of costs we require this form completed and potentially a meeting with the TD. Thank you in advance for providing this important information.

  • STAFFING / CREW REQUIREMENTS: ArtSpring’s Technical Director (TD) is required at all times rental clients are in the facility in order to ensure proper and safe use of the facility and equipment. There is a minimum four-hour call for all technical staff. The TD will provide the following: • Tech meeting in advance of your load-in • Technical Equipment Set-up • Operation of equipment. Additional ArtSpring technicians may be required, depending on the nature of your event. These technician rates are listed on our Theatre Rate Sheet. Note on scheduling: • Any shift over 5 hours MUST include a 30-minute break • An 8-hour shift MUST include a 1-hour break • All schedules must be pre-approved by the Technical Director

  • Please ensure you are allowing for required staff break-times as indicated at the start of this form.

  • Please provide a ground plan or stage plot. You can print off the PDF from our website and draw your setup onto it.

  • Technical and Equipment Needs:

    *Please note that some equipment is shared between the Theatre and Gallery (ie, chairs and risers). Notifying us of your needs as soon as possible allows us to check if the quantity required is available.
  • Please note: client equipment requires the approval of the Tech Director prior to use in the theatre.
  • If possible please review audio equipment list on our website and specify what type.
  • Please note: the theatre has 4.
  • Note: Tuning is an additional cost and we must book it for you no later than two weeks prior to your event.
  • Should additional equipment be required, there will be additional rental charges. Unless otherwise noted, only ArtSpring technicians may change, alter or modify equipment.
  • Please note: Rigging requires a licensed rigger, which ArtSpring cannot provide in-house.
