Greetings, and welcome! This form is intended for artists and groups performing as part of the ArtSpring Presents series. Please complete as soon as possible (at least 4 weeks prior to your performance date), even if you have already provided us a tech rider. It helps our team prepare for your technical, hospitality, and front-of-house needs, and ensures smooth communication and a successful event.   • Staffing/Crew Requirements:

    ArtSpring’s Technical Director (TD) is required at all times artists are in the facility in order to ensure proper and safe use of the facility and equipment. The TD will provide the following: • Tech meeting in advance of your load-in • Technical Equipment Set-up • Operation of equipment. Additional ArtSpring technicians may be required, depending on the nature of your event. Note on scheduling: • Any shift over 5 hours MUST include a 30-minute break • An 8-hour shift MUST include a 1-hour break • All schedules must be pre-approved by the Technical Director • Additional crew can be a challenge as Saltspring is a very small rural community. Schedules may have to change to accommodate geographical limitations.

  • Please ensure you are allowing for required staff break-times as indicated at the start of this form. NOTE: If you require a piano tuning we typically schedule it from 10am-11:30am on the day of the performance.

  • Please note: Saltspring has limited food choice if any after a night time performance. Arrangements need to be made in advance if you require a meal post performance. We suggest a dinner break from 5-6pm prior to the show.
  • If Yes, please bring merch at time of load-in.
  • Please provide a ground plan or stage plot. You can print off the PDF from our website and draw your setup onto it.

  • Technical and Equipment Needs:

    *Please note that some equipment is shared between the Theatre and Gallery (ie, chairs and risers). Notifying us of your needs as soon as possible allows us to check if the quantity required is available.

  • Unless otherwise noted, only ArtSpring technicians may change, alter or modify equipment.
  • Please note: Rigging requires a licensed rigger, which ArtSpring cannot provide in-house.

  • Please provide us with any sound or lighting details you think we should have in order to prepare for your event.
  • We provide a light hospitality of fruit, granola bars, sparkling and still water. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies in the company. We have two dressing rooms that seat up to 6 in each, Both have a shower/sink and toilet. We do not have a separate greenroom. Performers have access to our concession kitchen. Note any other questions or concerns here.
