ArtSpring newsletter – What’s On December 2021
What are you most looking forward to about the holiday season? For me, it’s a chance to finally get to visit family after two years. COVID safety and travel restrictions have been so challenging for everyone – getting together this year will be really special.
We can also get together with some of the community groups that have been itching to return to ArtSpring to present their holiday shows. Choir groups The Salt Spring Singers, and Viva Chorale! are both here this month – and Viva Chorale! are picking up the mantle of the community sing-a-along with their concert, which is also a fundraiser for our local food bank.
We’re so pleased to have the talented students of the GISS Music program back on stage too with their end-of-year concerts, and Jeffrey Renn brings our ArtSpring Presents shows for 2021 to a close with three opportunities to see part two of his tribute to poet Robert Service.
The ArtSpring staff is taking a break over the holiday season – we are closed from December 18 – January 3. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2022, with increased capacity in the theatre, and many wonderful performing and visual arts events.
Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season from all the team here at ArtSpring.
With thanks,
Cicela Månsson
