Whilst many recent shows have been cancelled due to covid restrictions, Jeffrey Renn continues to work on part 2 of his piece At Your Service – The Life and Yarns of Robert Service. Let’s hope we can meet in the theatre for his performances

So here they are! My madeleines! I followed the recipe precisely and though it was a little involved it was not difficult. The result is a beautifully textured and lemony treat! I can imagine making the batter in advance and baking them just before serving dessert with accompanying ice cream. Yummy!
A word of warning, they don’t keep well so making a batch is a bit of a commitment in terms of one’s waistband! recipe>
The BC Provincial Health Order of November 19 has been extended and will be kept in place until further notice based on direction from the PHO. Unfortunately this means that ArtSpring will be closed to the public for the time being. Our Makana Youth Choir is able to continue under the current order.
