ArtSpring newsletter February 15, 2021
Dear Friends,
ArtSpring is honoured to be a recipient of a bequest from the late William James Crawford. Mr Crawford was a longtime patron of ArtSpring, attending some of the very first concerts in early 2000, and he regularly supported ArtSpring through Treasure Fair and Annual Appeal donations.
We are privileged to have been remembered in his will, along with the Salt Spring Library, Lady Minto Hospital Foundation, and Salt Spring Seniors.
Bequests mean so much to non-profit organizations such as ArtSpring. Through his generous gift, Mr Crawford’s legacy will live on and will contribute to the future health of our community arts centre. We send our deepest sympathies to his family.
The BC Provincial Health Order of November 19 has been extended and will be kept in place until further notice based on direction from the PHO. Unfortunately this means that ArtSpring will be closed to the public for the time being. Our Makana Youth Choir is able to continue under the current order.
With thanks,
Cicela Månsson
