ArtSpring Newsletter November 2, 2020

Dear Friends,

I had such a great time watching Chris Humphreys’ Glimpses of the Moon as a live streaming show on October 23. Chris, Metta, and Jason were fabulous. So that was Friday. On Saturday I tuned into a live streaming event from The Cultch of Veda Hille’s Little Volcano. She’s such a creative soul. On Sunday I was at ArtSpring for the Conversations that are part of the Collaboration project. It struck me how powerful it is when artists share so deeply and honestly from their personal lives.

ArtSpring is waiting to hear on a grant that will give us the tools to do live streaming events – three cameras, a switcher, etc. We really hope it works out as it will give our community users one more way to reach their audiences!

ArtSpring’s Donor Appeal is underway and we hope you will contribute to ArtSpring. While monthly donations are fabulous, every single gift is hugely appreciated. If you’d like to set up monthly donations feel free to give us a call, alternatively Donate Now.

Please note that the Island Arts Centre Society (ArtSpring) Zoom AGM will be held on Wednesday December 2 at 4:15pm. Please email board@artspring.ca to receive a zoom link for the AGM. At the same time, members may request a copy of the AGM report.

With thanks,
Cicela Månsson
Executive & Artistic Director, ArtSpring
