Get On Board! Monthly Member Profile: David Hart

David Hart is new to the ArtSpring board, but not new to Salt Spring having moved here in 1999. After retiring as a professor of Clinical Psychology and head of the department at Memorial University in Newfoundland, he and his wife moved first to Vancouver. From there, they moved to Salt Spring praising its beauty. Though David does not garden, he appreciates Mother Nature as she nurtures beautiful firs and arbutus trees on his property.

David has been involved with a variety of volunteer boards, including the Library Board and the Literacy Society. He also has been the host of the radio show on CFSI, Word on the Rock, for four years. His interest in ArtSpring reflects his passion for the Stratford Festival, where he has gone almost yearly since the 1980s.
