ArtSpring Summer Painting Workshop

Join award-winning wildlife artist W. Allan Hancock as he shares his creative process in a week-long artist workshop. Beginning with an inspiring trek on a local trail, this five-day acrylic workshop will offer many insights into capturing the beauty of nature in art. Don’t miss this rare opportunity. Join Photosynthesis for the opening reception of its annual exhibit at ArtSpring. Photosynthesis is a group of accomplished Salt Spring photographers created in 1995. Its annual exhibit at Artspring has become an island tradition. This year is a milestone as it marks the 15th edition. The show includes works by fourteen of the permanent members as well as four guest photographers and one student from the Gulf Islands Secondary School’s photography program. Photosynthesis is a group of accomplished Salt Spring photographers created in 1995. Its annual exhibit at Artspring has become an island tradition. This year is a milestone as it marks the 15th edition. The show includes works by fourteen of the permanent members as well as four guest photographers and one student from the Gulf Islands Secondary School’s photography program.
