Moore Family Art Exhibit

The artwork of three generations of the Moore family will be on exhibit at ArtSpring: the traditional landscapes of Joseph George (J.G.) Moore, the films and mixed media of Lorne Moore and the paintings of Mary-Anne Moore. J.G. Moore (1914-1980) was a sign painter, woodworker by trade, and float maker for the Pacific National Exhibition. He also painted traditional landscapes of B.C. Moore Family Exhibit: Opening Reception

Join the Moore family for the opening reception of their art exhibit. Artwork from three generations of the Moore family will be on display at ArtSpring from August 9 to 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. From the traditional landscapes of J.G. Coastal Reflections Exhibit: Paintings & Drawings

Photo-synthesis Exhibit Opening Reception

Join Photosynthesis for the opening reception of their fourteenth exhibit. Each year, the nineteen group members invite three to four new photographers and one student photographer to present their work in the show. The work is non-thematic, allowing each vision to remain unique. There are no collaborations, which makes hanging the show a test of visual scoring. The only prerequisite is that the work be new. Photo-synthesis Exhibit

This year marks the 14th presentation of Photosynthesis, a group show of work by 23 local photographers. The group was formed in 1995, and has since become an island tradition.
