Tickets for the Metropolitan Opera’s new season at ArtSpring go on sale on Friday, Sept 9. You will find all the operas listed both on our website and at the end of our 2011-12 Season brochure.

 

Ticket prices are unchanged from last year and once again we are able to offer a 10% discount if you buy tickets to five or more operas at one time.

 

The first opera of the season is on October 15 and features Anna Netrebko singing Anne Boleyn in Donizetti’s opera of the same title. She’s a fabulous singer and a terrific actor.

A quick reminder also that this Saturday, Sept 10 we will be showing a live satellite broadcast of the Final Night of the Proms from London. The show starts at 11:30am and features soloist Lang Lang playing Liszt, as well as such perennial favourites as mass singing of Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia. Why not pick up a ticket while you’re here on Friday purchasing your Met tickets?
